D and I spent two phenomenal days in Cradle Mountain. We saw Padamelons, we saw Walabies, we saw tons of wombats. We hiked for HOURS each day and although we're horribly sore, we saw some of the most beautiful sights we have EVER seen. We went to a Tasmanian Devil breeding facility to see live Devils. They are very cute and very shy. They're almost impossible to spot in the wild. Photos are forthcoming...
We woke up this morning, packed, and were greeted by two Padamelons eating outside our cabin. We got on the road and drove, and drove, and drove. Leaving at 9:45 am, we arrived in Hobart at 6:30 pm. We stopped a lot, but drove for well over 5 hours. D drove most of it, but I did the last hour or so.
Tomorrow we're going for a scenic flight/boat cruise near Hobart. We'll see how that goes...
